Chris MacTaggert

My name is Christopher MacTaggart, I am a biomedical engineering student entering my junior year at The College of New Jersey this upcoming fall. The biomedical field is extremely broad, encompassing biological, mechanical, and electrical aspects. As an undecided twenty year old college student, I applied for internships everywhere hoping to get my foot in the door of this ever expanding field. Keith Kimble and Biomed Technologies extended me an offer in May for a position with the company that I gladly accepted.

Since then I have learned more than I could have ever imagined. I have been taught electrical safety guidelines, how to do incoming equipment inspections, how hospitals differ from private practices. I have been involved in countless hands on repairs. I have been shown how to apply my theoretical knowledge to real world applications, and most of all I have learned about great customer service. With two years left in my undergraduate education and possibly graduate school after, my future is still very much undecided. However, my time spent at Biomed Technologies has given me first hand experience with incredible coworkers that I would not have received anywhere else. I would like to thank Keith and the whole Biomed staff for all they have done for me in this short time and look forward to our paths crossing again in the future."
