Biomed Technologies becomes an official donation drop-off for OPERATION CHILLOUT

MOUNT ARLINGTON, NEW JERSEY, JUNE 1, 2014 — Due to the overwhelming success of collecting donations during the Winter campaign and offering a company match initiative, Biomed Technologies has become an official drop-off point all year round! Donations are being accepted at their Mount Arlington headquarters which can be dropped off in-person or sent via mail.

Items being collected for the 2014 Summer Homeless Outreach are Cases of Bottled Water, New / Unused T-Shirts & Ball Caps, Sunblock & Sunglasses, and Insect Repellent. Monetary Donations in the form of Checks are to be made out to OPERATION CHILLOUT.

In November 2013, Biomed Technologies partnered with OPERATION CHILLOUT – an all-volunteer not for profit coalition dedicated to ending the crisis of homeless veterans. Each Winter, OPERATION CHILLOUT collects and distributes backpacks filled with new warm clothing and basic survival gear to homeless veterans in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Their mobile Veteran’s Rapid Response Unit provides immediate outreach for homeless veterans to access and respond to their needs.

There are over 7,000 homeless veterans in New Jersey. With this staggering number, OPERATION CHILLOUT works to help these veterans and their families. Together we can make an impact on this problem. For information on OPERATION CHILLOUT, please visit www.operationchillout.org.
