Keith Kimble

I wasn’t going to write a profile because it’s supposed to be about the team, not me. Well, one of my own rules came back to bite me: Never ask a person to do something you are not willing to do yourself.
So, I’ll begin by writing that my name is Keith Kimble. I am the owner of Biomed Technologies and I can’t imagine having a better job. I knew that I wanted to become a Biomedical Technician during my Junior year in High School. My first job in the medical field was at age 17. I worked in the housekeeping and maintenance department at a very small hospital. After graduation from technical school, I started working as a Biomedical Technician. That was 36 years ago. Wow, I wonder how many pieces of medical equipment I have repaired, calibrated, or inspected over 36 years!
I was born and raised in Warren, MI. Before ending up in NJ in 1987, I lived outside Oklahoma City for two years. Even though I have been in Jersey for 27 years, I still miss Warren.
I have been married for 27 years. My wife, Nicki works part-time here in the office. We have a 17 year old son who got his learners permit a few months ago and is a busboy in two restaurants.
When I’m not working, you may find me boating, tending my organic vegetable garden, working in the yard, at Boy Scouts, or at the firehouse. I have been with my volunteer fire company for just about 25 years and have served as Captain. I have also brewed my own beer for several years. I’d love to get back to that.
